 A graduation present to myself August 12, 2010

This cost me $320 back in '03 when I graduated college. I wore it to several job interviews and "drinking to get trashed" kind of parties. 6 years later, without realizing, I'm still wearing the same watch. So hard to say bye to this watch. It served me well for 6 yrs and counting and it still cost $200 in 2010!!
Parents, if you're giving your college grad a watch as a graduation present, please give them any rolex brand with date. That's all you need from a watch. That will be your kid's most treasured trophy for going this far in life. I guarantee you that they'll remember that hard work forever.
As for me, I can't get rid of this tissot, LOL. This time piece has a sentimental value for my hard work. I want to wear this forever but I'm not sure if this tissot will last 30 more years. ...I know a rolex will :D

I spend several weeks to buy a watch for dressing events, I ended up with Tissot. It has been five months since I bought it, it works great, only date is needed to be reset at the end of months with 30 days. Thats is not a big deal. Tissot is a brand that you get value of your money from your purchase. This is very good looking and class watch, that worths definitely more than this price. I would definitely suggest it.

Thought of buying a RADO as my dream watch until I bought this one at relatively affordable price.
Pros:
Very elegant and great look.
Extremely comfortable.
It feels solid.
Cons:
Haven't figured out if the date can be set automatically for months with less than 31 days.
Maybe this kind of watch has to do it manually every other month.

I liked the watch but the date function doesnot work properly. The date changes at 12 noon as opposed to 12 midnight. I spoke to customer care. They promised to replace it. But they said they didnot have one in stock. I am stuck with the watch. Ideally they should give me a replacement watch, whichever I order now if they want the amazon brand to be recognized for quality. I like to buy from amazon but will not be a happy customer if nothing is done about my watch.

I have been looking for a nice watch for everyday office use for some time. Was looking at a Tag but decided to try this first since I liked the style and the price seemed too good to be true. Completely happy with this watch. Looks great, for office and evening wear as well as weekends. Easy to adjust to my size and get set up.
