Nice, heavy attractive watch. August 20, 2010 E. Higuera (North Carolina, United States) I love this watch. It has a simple classic look (which is difficult to find these days). The watch looks good with dress cloths or just jeans and a t-shirt. Evidently, it's not easy to find in the states, so no local jeweler carries anything like it. Great addition to a collection.
Tissot V8-Don't use it in the ocean July 7, 2010 horsedoc (Davis, Ca) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this watch nearly a year ago. I have recently tried swimming with it in the ocean. It does not seem like that it is waterproof, it went completetely crazy after that, and then stopped. The only reason that I gave a 2star review is because it looks real good, and I did not have problem with it for nearly a year. Although I would not recommend this watch if you want to use it for swimming or diving. Otherwise it looks trendy when you sit at the bar or a club.
Tissot V8 Chrono April 28, 2010 ajentscully (Athens, GA USA) By far the most attractive watch I have owned, including Breitling, Omega, Swiss Army and Citizen. Received the watch 4 days earlier than estimated arrival. Great packaging, watch and all paperwork in order along with hang tag. Timed the watch for two days with "time.gov" and lost/gained a second or two. Chrono works perfectly. Only issue I have is that at times the hands are difficult to see due to their light color against the ivory dial. Brown leather strap is attractive and supple and clasp is easy to use. Price was exceptional and quality is evident in all areas.
Tissot T36.1.316.72 Review April 28, 2010 baby boomer Believe the reviews that this is a large watch and the band is small. But, I like the watch. I had a seiko chrono that broke and couldn't be repaired. After 30 years of owning a couple of seikos, I decided to try this Tissot. It's easy to operate, even though it came with out instructions.
Well made December 24, 2009 the dude (USA) I just received this watch. It is much nicer than the picture suggests. Substantial and well made, with a very nice band - although somewhat stiff but will break in I'm sure. Compared to other Tissot offerings, it is reasonably priced as well. The only slight drawback is that the "set knob" (the middle one) does not screw in which may suggest an increased chance at water damage. However, overall, I'm quite pleased with this. As other reviewer's mentioned, the second hand is actually dark blue. The date is a bit hard to see in the photo, but is at the six o'clock position.
